As a Video Production Specialist on the Knowledge and Training team, you will create the instructional media that brings our training to life. You'll translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging visual content, from scripted instructional videos and motion-graphic explainers to occasional live event support. All work happens within the macOS ecosystem.
In this role, you will own video projects end-to-end, from creative proposal through final delivery. You'll partner with subject matter experts, content developers, and facilitators to translate complex technical workflows into clear, engaging visual stories. You'll write, film, animate, and edit instructional content; design and produce custom motion graphics; and occasionally support live or recorded broadcasts. You'll bring craft and judgment to every project, juggling multiple deadlines, holding the quality bar, and shaping how Apple employees experience learning content.
Research, write, film, and edit instructional videos that support the adoption of Apple's internal productivity platforms.
Design and animate custom motion graphics, capture screen recordings, and create other visual aids to enhance the learning experience.
Partner with subject matter experts and content developers to translate technical processes and workflows into clear, engaging visual content.
Support live and recorded broadcast production for internal events as needed, including planning, on-site/on-call execution, and post-event editing.
Own production schedules, asset tracking, and project documentation for assigned video projects.
Ensure all educational content meets technical specifications, accessibility standards, and quality benchmarks.
Maintain a highly organized library of project files, raw footage, motion assets, and audio.
Identify opportunities to improve production workflows and propose enhancements that raise quality or efficiency across the team
3+ years of professional video production experience owning projects end to end, from scripting and planning through filming, editing, and post-production (color, audio mix, and final delivery).
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro as a primary editing tool, with at least two pieces in your reel that you personally edited in Final Cut Pro.
At least two custom motion-graphics pieces in your portfolio that you created (not from stock templates) in Apple Motion and/or Keynote.
A macOS-native production workflow, with editing and motion work delivered in Apple’s creative apps (Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Compressor, Keynote).
A portfolio or demo reel (link required, accessible without a login) that clearly shows all three: an instructional, explainer, or educational piece; a piece with custom motion graphics you produced; and a piece you edited from raw footage to final cut. (Note your specific role on each piece.)
Experience with AI video tools to help expedite various stages of the production process.
Hands-on experience with on-set production techniques, including lighting design and professional audio capture.
Proficiency in camera operation across a range of setups, from iPhone videography to professional and "prosumer" camera environments.
Knowledge of various color spaces, with experience in color grading.
Experience producing live or recorded broadcasts (all-hands, leader broadcasts, town halls).
Familiarity with accessibility standards for video content (captioning, audio description, color contrast).
