This role sits at the center of planning, analysis, and optimization for one of Apple's fastest-growing areas. Day to day, this means digging into usage and funnel data to understand what's working and why, building the frameworks that connect marketing investment to business outcomes, and working closely with marketing operations, data science, and product teams to keep everyone aligned on what matters most. This role requires moving between big-picture planning and detailed, hands-on analysis, and presenting findings and recommendations to teams across the organization.
Define and update fiscal marketing goals grounded in historical performance, funnel data, and forward-looking market opportunities; establish clear KPIs to track progress, inform resource allocation, and own budget pacing across channels throughout the year
Develop deep fluency in Maps and Apple Business usage data to identify trends and patterns across business, partner and customer segments; translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that inform marketing strategy, prioritization, and testing opportunities
Identify the highest-ROI channels for reaching high-quality business owners — such as search, social, email, and partners — and provide data-driven recommendations on channel mix, investment allocation, and retention and re-engagement strategies to convert registered businesses into active, transacting users
Partner with insights and marketing teams to build and refine a measurement framework that connects marketing spend to business registrations, activation events, and transactions
Align with marketing operations, data science, and product teams on performance reporting standards; regularly report out on Maps and Apple Business metrics and translate findings into shared priorities across teams
7-10 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a related field, ideally with exposure to funnel optimization across B2B or B2C audiences
Proven ability to analyze marketing funnel and usage data to develop and present clear, actionable recommendations that shape marketing strategy for cross-functional audiences
Demonstrated experience building or contributing to attribution or measurement frameworks that connect marketing spend to business outcomes
Analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of developing and optimizing marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth
Bachelor's degree required
Track record of managing fiscal year planning processes, including goal setting, KPI definition, and budget pacing across multiple channels
Ability to evaluate channel performance — such as search, social, email, or partner channels — and translate findings into investment allocation recommendations
Experience designing or informing retention and re-engagement strategies that improve activation or conversion outcomes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different teams and levels of seniority
Skilled at navigating competing priorities and driving alignment across teams
Track record of building structure and process in ambiguous or undefined areas
