You will be part of the Services Finance team supporting Apple Card business, focused on improving the profitability of our dynamic and rapidly evolving Services businesses.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted financial partner to business and functional teams — partnering to make informed decisions, craft compelling financial narratives, and bring strategic initiatives to life. You will bring a problem-solving mindset, strong business instincts, and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to elevate the work of those around you.
The ideal candidate is someone who is detail oriented, experienced at financial modeling, financial operations, and proficient at summarizing key take-aways for executive audience presentations.
You will also help chart the future direction of Apple Card by monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, projecting future business results, identifying recommendations to product, marketing, and business development teams, investigating new opportunities, and ensuring the business can execute against its long-term strategy.
Forecast, analyze, and report business performance for Apple Card through regular updates to senior leadership
Analyze business performance with the goal of identifying recommendations for cross-functional teams to address through features and other improvements
Support month-end and quarter-end close, including revenue and COGS accruals, journal entries, and SAP reconciliation
Validate partner reporting and invoicing against contractual program economics, and serve as an approver in the invoice control workflow
Provide analytical support to evaluate operational decisions
Develop financial analysis for new features and strategic opportunities (e.g., financials, market sizing)
Work with cross functional teams across Apple to support quarterly processes
Develop and implement cross-functional frameworks and controls for financial operations and execution of deal economics
Champion the use of modern and emerging technologies — from automation tools to AI-powered workflows — to accelerate analysis and surface insights that would otherwise go unseen
5 years of experience with a proven track record of success in roles focused on financial modeling, business analysis, finance, and data analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field
Experience forecasting P&Ls in financial services businesses with ability to implement model best-practices in both forecasting models and business cases using Excel
Experience developing business cases around market opportunities and partnerships — including strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong experience with Keynote — ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics to senior leaders and partners
Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in a clear and concise manner
Should be able to act independently and be self-motivated
Demonstrated success in handling multiple activities/projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-growing, results-driven environment
Proven experience developing processes and/or improving existing processes, with desire to influence change across our team and Apple as an organization
Ability to see the big picture while simultaneously zooming into the details
Ability to navigate through a large organization and cross-functional teams to achieve a task with minimal oversight
Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starting attitude and a strong leader and influencer
Experience with Excel, Keynote, and Tableau
Co-branded credit card financial / business experience
MBA and/or CPA is a plus
