Cookies Policy
Last updated · May 13, 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how SCRIPTTHEMARKET LLC (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on applinity (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which we treat the same way for the purposes of this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies, grouped by purpose:
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled in our systems without breaking core functionality.
- Authentication session. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that identify your session and refresh your access token. Without them you would be signed out on every page load.
- Security. Cookies that help us detect abuse, prevent CSRF, and protect form submissions.
Functional
These cookies remember choices you make to give you a better experience. They are first-party and limited in scope.
- UI preferences (e.g., last-used filters on Browse).
Analytics and performance
We use PostHog for first-party product analytics (page views, feature usage, anonymized session telemetry) so we can understand which parts of the Service are useful and where they break. PostHog is configured for first-party autocapture; we do not use it for cross-site behavioral advertising and we do not sell the resulting data. PostHog sets a small number of cookies / local storage entries to maintain an anonymous distinct ID across visits.
3. Third-party cookies
Some parts of the Service rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies on the relevant pages:
- Stripe on billing and checkout pages, for fraud prevention and to maintain your billing session.
- Vercel for hosting-platform diagnostics on application traffic.
- PostHog for the anonymous distinct ID that ties a session’s events together (see “Analytics and performance” above).
These providers process information under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
4. Your choices
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using authenticated parts of the Service.
- Do Not Track. We honor the spirit of Do Not Track by not engaging in cross-site behavioral advertising; we do not rely on the technical DNT signal because it has no industry consensus.
- Account deletion. If you delete your account, we will invalidate your session cookies on next request.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or new categories of similar technologies, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
