Job description
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage services that make Google a great place to work—from designing healthy and collaborative workspaces, creating energizing food experiences, and providing convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering environments where Google and our employees thrive.
Data and technology solutions are essential to achieving our mission; we enable the portfolio to scale efficiently, improve employee experience, and support Google’s growth. Within REWS, the Data, Analytics & Planning (DAP) team is dedicated to ensuring the effective deployment, governance, and scale of technology and data solutions to support REWS' objectives.
- Providing enterprise governance and strategic oversight to dashboard, data pipeline, and operational engineering teams delivering business-critical BI, and data platforms across REWS.
- Designing and scaling an AI-ready enterprise data model (Project Strata), defining canonical KPIs, Golden Datasets (Space, CapEx, Lease, Agreements, Badging), data contracts, and semantic layers for GenAI integration.
- Managing vendor ecosystems and program resources, governing project delivery budgets, staffing allocation, and partner SOWs across DAP initiatives.
- Engaging strategically with executive leadership and cross-functional partners (CorpEng, Finance, REWS Leadership) to align technology roadmaps with broader organizational goals.
- Ensuring operational excellence and continuous optimization for Technical Programs, Data Quality governance (across 9 core domains and 260+ business rules), and self-service analytics enablement.
- Establishing consistent, scalable horizontal program delivery frameworks across global workplace operations.
