UX Engineer, HUE Futures

Joining a multi-disciplinary UX team, you will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, using user insights to create industry-leading products. In a fast-paced environment, you will use your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies to: create prototypes that define product experiences; launch innovative features; build tools to accelerate UX teams; and bridge design and engineering to ensure efficient, high-quality execution. User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. US: $109000 - $155000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies.
• Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers.
• Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Serve as a mentor for junior UX engineers and peers.
• Assist front-end engineers with final development of Google products

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 year of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
  
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development.
  
• Experience with HTML and CSS.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a technical, UX, design environment, or similar.
