WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING
At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you’ll discover the real differentiator is our culture. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career.
THE ROLE
At AMD, we are shaping the future of AI and high-performance computing. As Enterprise End Customers and Digital Native companies evaluate how to build, deploy, and scale AI, they need clear, credible stories that explain what infrastructure matters, why it matters, and how AMD can help.
The AI Infrastructure Messaging Manager will own the audience-facing expression of AMD’s AI infrastructure narrative for Enterprise End Customer and Digital Native audiences. This role translates product capabilities, benchmarks, specifications, software advances, AI model trends, and customer use cases into clear, differentiated stories that can be used in campaign narratives, sales decks, Events, launches, keynotes, customer presentations, partner content, and press or analyst materials.
This is not a traditional campaign execution role. This person develops the audience-ready narrative that helps AMD’s product proof points, solution context, market trends, and campaign themes come together in a clear, credible, and compelling way.
THE PERSON
You are a strategic storyteller with strong product instincts, technical curiosity, and market awareness. You can simplify complex technology without losing credibility and are comfortable engaging with product and technical teams on GPUs, CPUs, AI workloads, software, benchmarks, and platform differentiation.
You stay close to AI market trends, including frontier model builders, open-source models, developer behavior, and how Enterprise and Digital Native customers are evaluating and adopting AI. You have hands-on familiarity with AI models and workloads that run on AMD Instinct GPUs or competitive equivalent GPU platforms, and you understand how customers think about model performance, software readiness, deployment flexibility, infrastructure requirements, and time to value.
You can work quickly with incomplete inputs, ask the right questions, and iterate under tight timelines. You also know how to use modern AI tools to accelerate messaging, research synthesis, content development, and narrative refinement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the audience-facing expression of AMD’s AI infrastructure narrative for Enterprise Customer and Digital Native audiences
- Translate product inputs, benchmarks, specifications, software capabilities, roadmap themes, AI model trends, and customer use cases into clear, audience-relevant stories
- Develop campaign narratives, sales deck narratives, keynote storylines, launch messaging, customer presentations, briefing materials, and partner-facing messaging
- Build stories that connect AMD GPUs, CPUs, software, systems, and ecosystem capabilities to AI workload requirements, customer needs, and market trends
- Stay current on AI trends, including frontier models, open-source model adoption, developer needs, enterprise AI deployment patterns, and digital native infrastructure choices
- Partner across product, engineering, competitive, sales, PR, AR, partner marketing, and campaign teams to ensure narratives are accurate, differentiated, and usable
- Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, successfully meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards for clarity and quality
- Use AI tools to accelerate messaging development, research synthesis, content iteration, and audience adaptation
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in B2B, enterprise, datacenter, cloud, AI, semiconductor, infrastructure, or other technical technology markets
- Strong background in strategic messaging, technical storytelling, content strategy, sales enablement, or go-to-market narrative development
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused value propositions
- Understanding of AI infrastructure, including GPUs, CPUs, software stacks, datacenter systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise AI use cases
- Knowledge of current AI trends, including frontier model builders, open-source models, developer ecosystems, enterprise AI adoption, and digital native deployment patterns
- Hands-on familiarity with AI models and workloads that run on AMD Instinct GPUs or competitive equivalent GPU platforms strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret benchmarks, specifications, workload performance, TCO claims, and platform capabilities
- Experience developing sales decks, campaign narratives, keynote storylines, launch content, customer presentations, analyst materials, or press narratives
- Proven ability to iterate quickly with limited information and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to support messaging, content development, research synthesis, and narrative refinement
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
LOCATION
- Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
