Analog Design Lead - Custom Silicon Management

As a part of the CSM (Custom Silicon Management) team responsible for the delivery of high-quality, on-time silicon, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of silicon design.

Work on silicon spanning Health/Camera/Connectivity programs.
Working with the Systems and Platform teams to establish silicon requirements.
Leading efforts to develop, integrate, characterize, and test silicon.
Delivering first revision production worthy silicon per system requirements, on schedule.
Driving continuous improvements in analog design methodology to achieve high quality first silicon.
Working collaboratively with vendors to manage the development of new process technologies and next-generation architectures and circuit designs.
Ensuring designs are properly verified, validated, and tested for long-term reliability.
Managing schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts.

BS degree and 10+ years relevant industry experience
Experience designing analog and/or mixed-signal IC blocks

PhD and 5+ years experience managing design teams
Experience with multiple tape-outs reaching production with first pass silicon
Ability to drive and improve design methodology to achieve high quality first silicon
Experience with FPGA emulation, silicon bring-up, characterization and debug
Able to work with multi-functional teams within Apple and external vendors across geographical boundaries to resolve architectural and implementation challenges with an eye towards schedule

The Apple Custom Silicon Management Group provides critical custom silicon for all mobile products including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AppleTV. We are looking for a remarkable Analog Design Lead to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors to define, develop and productize the next generation of custom silicon solutions.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
