This role requires strong analog and mixed-signal fundamentals, including a deep understanding of noise, linearity, and signal integrity in mixed-signal systems. You should be well-versed in mixed-signal building blocks such as op-amps, filters, ADCs, DACs, and output drivers, as well as low-power sensor and sensor-interface circuits. Hands-on experience in prototyping, characterization, and debugging of mixed-signal hardware is essential.
Participate in datasheet drafting and reviews for a variety of ICs
Follow through the full IC design cycle: design review, bring-up, bench characterization, and bug tracking
Work with multi-functional teams for function block system integration, including schematic and layout reviews
Support production test, manufacturing, system validation, and troubleshooting
Perform hardware prototyping and demonstration

The iPhone Division is seeking an enthusiastic Analog Design Engineer to join a creative and energetic engineering team developing future iPhone products. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of a variety of analog function blocks and subsystems — including power, audio, battery management, and sensors.
This is a great opportunity to be at the focal point of many cross-functional interactions with Apple's internal hardware/software teams, contract manufacturer teams, and IC vendor teams throughout different development stages. We expect familiarity with portable, low-power consumer electronics, preferably in a high-volume, high-quality product environment.
